Before watching this movie, I believed the film is going to talk about the breakthrough Steve Jobs have made, such as I phone and I pad, or have a depth exploration of the dramatic life of him. However, after watching this movie, I have to say I’m quite disappointed of it.
Firstly, the plot of the film is terrible. In the real life, there are many deeds of Jobs, which can take as a plot of the movie. For example, how Steve Jobs establish NeXT after leaving the Apple Company, or acquisition of Lucas film. However, none of these stories have been used in the movie. In my opinion, the story of the movie can apply mechanically into any other businessman. A man invents a new product and have power struggle. Also, products, which represent Steve Jobs and his Apple Company such as I pod, I phone and I pad, all of them have not shown in the movie, which makes me disappointed.
Also, not just the story of the movie is disappointment. In the propaganda of the film claimed that the movie would ‘turn on your mind’ and it did it. Because of this movie, I decided to have a quick research of Steve Jobs. However, desperately, after doing the research, I found that some plot of the movie don’t even appropriate to the reality. Which really turn my mind. For example, in one sense of the film, Steve and Stephen have an argument about weather people will buy a computer. The scene is dramatic. However, after the movie was shown, Stephen in real life claim that he never has such a conversation with Jobs.
For the conclusion, I think this film have no different with an unfinished documentary of Steve Jobs. The story is disappointing and full of misleading, I will not suggest others to watch this.
